Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Praetor Suite ("the Service"), provided by Praetor Suite Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a law firm or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Praetor Suite is a Case, Document, and Hearing Management software designed for advocates and law firms. The Service includes case tracking, document storage, automated calendar reminders, and financial reporting tools.
3. Professional Responsibility
Praetor Suite is a tool to assist legal professionals. It does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for the professional judgment of an attorney. Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data entered and for meeting all court deadlines and professional obligations.
4. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
We recognize the sensitive nature of legal data. All attorney-client privileged information uploaded to the Service remains the property of the User. We employ industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
5. User Obligations
- You must provide accurate information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- You may not attempt to circumvent any security features of the Service.
6. Subscription & Billing
Access to certain features of Praetor Suite requires a paid subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to change our fees upon 30 days' notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Praetor Suite Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you will have a 30-day window to export your case data before it is permanently deleted.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
